You are right about the Master Tourbillon; the Gyrotourbillon made 2nd rank

“ In Chronometrie 2009, Jaeger-LeCoultre’s Master Tourbillon came 1st with an astonishing 909 points out of a thousand. In the conviviality of the prize-giving, it soon emerged that Jaeger-LeCoultre had also come second by just one point (908) with its ex

No Date

I also have a Jlc Chronometre calibre 906. The question is that my watch is a no date..... the mechanism is the proper calibre 906 and hasnt been modified do the no date face. The dile looks to be with the right wear for a 1970's watch, the only question

What are we wearing this week-end?

I will go for something different, this week end. Just for today, a precision parenthesis, a Jaeger Lecoultre Chronometer, the Ref 24 000 with its automatic Cal 906. You? Have a Great Week-End, my friends. Nicolas

Jaeger Lecoultre Ref 24000-42. A sport looking Chronometre.

From the Seventies. Which also existed with a white dial: A cool case back, too: And a Chronometer movement, the Cal 906. Best, Nicolas

Jaeger Lecoultre Chronometer, Ref 24000.

A funky look for this instrument of precision. The Cal 906 and its plastic device for the hacking second. And its refined " linen " dial. Which also existed in white: 520 pieces were made in 1970. Best, Nicolas

Jaeger Lecoultre Ref 24 000 Cal 906. The other Chronometer from the Grande Maison.

Produced between 1973 and 1975, in a total 3000 pieces, this 36 mm case had several dials, and among them, this one. Integrated steel bracelet, and a picture of the Cal 906 with its characteristic plastic lever, to stop the second hand. Not really decorat

Jaeger Lecoultre Geophysic E 168, Cal 906 Ref 24000-42, and Geomatic E 398. My trio of Jaeger Lecoultre Chronometers.

My only colored gold watch in the collection is the Geomatic, in rose gold, here. You can imagine how excited I was to be able to take such a picture, and to gather these watches. The absolute legend certainly is the Geophysic, for the vintage JLC collect
